“I am delighted to be able to write about Mantell-Hecathorn Builders. Since it is difficult to summarize how wonderful it is to work with them, I decided to start from the beginning when we first decided to engage them.

    I mentioned to a friend that I was looking for a contractor to remodel our kitchen. Her immediate response was that I speak to her friend who had used Greg and Tara for several remodels. After listening to a non stop superlative description of them for a half-hour, she also gave me two other names of people who had also used M-H Builders. Those two conversations were also lengthy recomendations. I had not even started to speak with Greg yet.

    After one conversation with Greg, we knew we had found our contractor. Not only is he personable and fun to work with, he is brimming with ideas and solutions. We started with a basic design of our kitchen from our architect, but it was Greg that we refined it to the kitchen it is today. He sat with us over a course of probably 4-6 weeks in dissecting and improving the design before we even started. Based on his experience and design ideas, we probably saved many dollars in avoiding costly mistakes and he was able to finish in a timely manner.

    Another reason we appreciated working with Greg is his organization. His invoices are fair, easy to understand and accurate. Due to past performance and adherence to schedule, his sums com on the day they are scheduled and are very loyal to Greg, giving him priority over other contractors. His crews are the best! I cannot say enough about how nice, hardworking, and considerate they all are. Best of all, when the job was all done and signed off, if there was anything that came to our attention afterwards, Greg came right away to address it.

    Due to all of the abouve mentioned, when it came time to redo our bedroom suit, we called Greg with only one question: when can you start?

Dear Greg,

   My wife and I have used Mantell-Hecathorn Builders for two projects in our home. The first project was a total kitchen renovation approximately 8-9 years ago. The second project was a renovation of 4 bathrooms in our home approximately 4 years ago. I cannot recommend Greg and his group strongly enough. We were extremely happy with the service that he offered on the kitchen renovation so that we went to him on the bathroom renovation several years later without even getting another bid.

    We found the service of Mantell-Hecathorn Builders to be excellent. Although they were a little more costly then some of the bids we received on our first project, the timeliness, service, attention to detail and schedule were excellent and worth the little extra, cost wise. Greg was always sensitive to our needs, anxieties and frustrations and managed to keep us well informed as the projects progressed. The crews that he employed were first rate and a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work was top notch and the follow up provided well after the projects were completed  was exemplary.

As you can tell from what I have already written, I would not hesitate to use Greg and his group again without any reservations. The only problem I have is that he is now in Colorado and not in our neck of the woods.
